China-Israel Innovation Collaboration Summit and Israel Intellectual Property Trade&Transfer Meeting

'Meet in Zhangjiang’ 2017 Science and Technology Culture Festival -- China-Israel Innovation Collaboration Summit and Israel Intellectual Property Trade&Transfer Meeting was successfully held.

On November 7, 2017, ‘Meet in Zhangjiang’ 2017 Science and Technology Culture Festival -- China-Israel Innovation Collaboration Summit and Israel Intellectual Property Trade&Transfer Meeting was successfully held in Zhangjiang entrepreneurship workshop at 800 Naxian Road, Pudong New Area, Shanghai.

The summit was hosted by the China Science and Technology Exchange Center (CSTEC), Israel Innovation Authority (IIA) and Shanghai Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park Administrative Committee, organized by Shanghai Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Innovation Service center, Shanghai Zhangjiang Torch Venture Capital Co., Ltd. and Sino Israel Technology Innovations (SITI), and supported by Shanghai Money Weekly Media Co., Ltd.

Yan Xiaohong, Director of the network platform department of China Science and Technology Exchange Center, Avi Luvton, Executive Director of Asia Pacific and Latin America Operations at Israel Innovation Authority, and Li Jingye, Deputy Director of Shanghai Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park Administrative Committee, attended the summit and delivered their speeches.

The summit aimed at promoting the cooperation between China and Israel in the field of science and technology, introducing excellent Israeli innovation and entrepreneurship projects, and enhancing the cooperation of premium science and technology projects between China and Israel. The 18 Israeli companies, out of 160 participating enterprises in the first China Israel Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest (preliminary stage) in Tel Aviv, in the fields of life science, information and communication technology and intelligent hardware, attended the summit. On the Chinese side, there were several well-known enterprises from Zhangjiang Hi-Tech park, such as Spreadtrum Communication (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Microport Medical Instrument (Group) Co., Ltd., and Aituling (Shanghai) Information Technology Co., Ltd. Together, more than 30 representatives of Chinese enterprises and investment institutions participated the summit.


In B2B meetings, the Chinese delegates had thorough communication with Israeli enterprises and conducted more than 30 rounds of project docking. The atmosphere was warm and the meeting gained fruitful results. More than 10 Israeli enterprises reached the agreement for further communication and negotiation with Chinese representatives.
